We are based out of West Tennessee (Covington-Ripley-Dyersburg Area). Our assemblies meet online primarily. There is no permanent building or physical location that we have. In previous years we had a physical location in the Fox Meadows area of Memphis, Tennessee. Over the years this proved to be impractical as the majority of our members & followers are spread out globally. We have found it more effective to follow the original Book of Acts Church/Synagogue model. We meet for Bible Study, Weekly Sabbath, & New Moon at home or house churches/synagogues & Virtually. Because these are local house synagogues/churches; visitors must be approved by the Elder or Pastor before attending. New Testament churches met in homes. That means that they were small groups. Buildings designated for large meetings or corporate worship are not Biblical local churches. These are not what the Bible calls churches. We like to use these buildings secondarily on High Sabbaths to unite the house churches on Feast Days.
Churches were meant to be small groups of people who are rooted in their faith & a commitment to meet regularly for Sabbath, New Moon, Bible Studies etc… Currently our local house churches are in the following geographic areas: First Resurrection Fellowship West & Middle Tennessee (MID-SOUTH ALSO INCLUDES NORTH MISSISSIPPI, EASTERN ARKANSAS, & MISSOURI BOOTHEEL), First Resurrection Fellowship Southern California, & First Resurrection Fellowship Kenya. If you would like to attend one of these house fellowships please use the contact us option on this website. For those outside these geographic spheres you can still get the full religious experience (TOOLS OF SALVATION) digitally. Furthermore, many of us gather in-person from all over the world for Biblical feast days, such as the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot). We normally have these High Sabbath Convocations in Tennessee and rent a building to accommodate those attending.
In conclusion we consider ourselves a hybrid virtual/in-person assembly, which allows us to gather with believers from all over the world. We were meeting like this before the plandemic, when we first started and will continue as such. Meeting in this manner allows us to be a global church. Isaiah 56:7 “Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.”
